Evidence-Based Treatments for Binge Eating Disorder in Adults (2CE)
Led by Dr. Kelly Theim Hurst, this 2hr introductory-level recorded webinar reviews two empirically supported treatments for Binge Eating Disorder (BED) in adults: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). Research support for both will be discussed, along with clinical case examples.
After attending this webinar, participants will be able to:
1) List the diagnostic criteria and clinical correlates of binge eating disorder (BED) in adults
2) Describe the theoretical models of CBT and IPT for BED
3) Apply core treatment strategies used within a CBT and IPT framework for BED in adults
