Ethical Risk Management in Psychotherapy Practice (2CE)

This workshop will review ways to locate and address common private practice risks that may be occurring in your practice. From confidentiality and paperwork issues to electronic communication, there are risks that often can be remedied with a few simple steps to maintain HIPAA compliance. Completing a risk assessment, and additional ways to maintain confidentiality, informed consent, and ethical practice will be discussed. Recommendations will also be made for limiting your liability and limiting your risks while working in private practice.
